ALMA: Beginning our sixth year of missionary training

March 20, 20262 min read

In March 2026, we officially began our sixth year of training missionaries at ALMA. We are deeply grateful to God for His faithful provision and for each person He has called to join the program this year. Our new class includes two couples, five women, and two men who have left behind their homes, families, and jobs in obedience to God’s call to seek first His Kingdom.

These first weeks have already been full of growth and powerful encounters with God. We began with several days of orientation and fellowship, followed by a special altar week. During this time, each student had the opportunity to repent from past sins, renounce old covenants, and renew their commitment to Jesus at the foot of the cross. It was a beautiful and transformative week marked by repentance, freedom, healing, and a deeper intimacy with God.

In the final week of March, our REAP training began with intensive classes focused on foundational biblical doctrines. The students were challenged to grow in their understanding of Scripture and strengthen their spiritual foundations for ministry.

In April, we will continue studying key biblical teachings, including salvation and the Holy Spirit. We will also dedicate a full week to learning about intercession, equipping students to become active intercessors in both their personal lives and ministries. In addition, practical evangelism training will begin as students start reaching out to people in the surrounding neighborhoods with the Gospel. Toward the end of the month, we will begin studying spiritual warfare and the authority believers have in Christ.

We pray that God will continue to give wisdom to every teacher and that the Holy Spirit will open the hearts and minds of each student to fully receive and apply everything He desires to teach them.

To all our brothers and sisters, pastors, leaders, and supporters: thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and faithful support. You are a tremendous blessing to us and an important part of this mission. Please continue praying for our students, teachers, volunteers, and for the many lives we hope to reach with the Gospel.

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”
2 Corinthians 13:14
